We will never ask for your recovery phrase or your sync key

Nobody needs them to help you, and anyone who asks for them is not us. Never type them into a website or send them in a message.

Delete your synced data

Every app can erase what our server holds for your sync key. On any device that uses the key:

  1. Open Settings › Sync.
  2. Choose Delete synced data and confirm.

This erases every encrypted record our server holds for that sync key, and unlinks Pro from it. What's on your devices stays there, and your wallet in the desktop app isn't touched. Your other devices on the same key stop syncing.

It doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel that in the App Store, Google Play or your checkout emails, as shown below.

We can't delete synced data for you by email: our server can't tell which records are yours without your sync key, and we'll never ask for it.

Restore on a new device

Your setup, with Pro sync

  1. On a device you already use, open Settings › Sync and show the sync key.
  2. On the new device, open Settings › Sync, join a sync key, and enter its 12 words.
  3. Choose Sync now or Restore from sync, whichever the screen shows. Your addresses, settings and account list come back, and Pro comes with the key.

Your purchase

On a phone signed in to the Apple ID or Google account you bought Pro with, open 0xStealth Pro from Settings and choose Restore purchases. In the browser extension, Pro follows the sync key: join the key from a device that has Pro, then choose Check again.

Your wallet

Your wallet lives in the desktop app. On a new computer, install the desktop app from the releases page and restore with your recovery phrase. We can't recover a lost recovery phrase; nobody can.

Manage or cancel Pro

Cancel where you bought it. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then stops renewing. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.

iPhone

Open the Settings app › your name › Subscriptions › 0xStealth › Cancel Subscription. In 0xStealth, Settings also links there.

Android

Open the Google Play app › your profile picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › 0xStealth › Cancel subscription.

Do I need Pro?

No. Free lets you add as many addresses as you like, link your phone over your network or your browser on the same computer, move requests by QR code or file, broadcast, back up your accounts by hand, and manage your wallets from your phone or browser. 0xStealth Pro adds encrypted sync across your devices, automatic backup, Bluetooth on your phone, Travel Keys on your phone or browser, the passphrase keypad and curated token lists. Nobody has an address limit.

Does one subscription work on all my devices?

Yes. Pro belongs to your sync key, so it works on every phone and browser that uses the same key, whichever store you bought it in.

Can you recover my funds or my recovery phrase?

No. 0xStealth never holds your funds or your recovery phrase, so we can't move, freeze, reverse or recover anything. Keep your recovery phrase written down somewhere safe.

I lost my phone. What should I do?

Your recovery phrase lives in the desktop app, not on the phone, so your wallet is safe on your computer. Any Travel Keys on it stay locked behind your travel password until their end date. If you're worried, move the funds in those accounts from your computer. On another device, open Settings › Sync and remove the lost phone from your devices. If you want to be sure it can't sync again, reset the sync key there and join your other devices to the new one.

A transaction went to the wrong place. Can you undo it?

No. Once a signed transaction is on the network, nobody can reverse it. That's why each request is spelled out before you approve it.

What do you know about me?

Very little, and the privacy policy lists all of it. There are no accounts, no analytics and no ads.
